Belt is almost too small at 48". It is not military issue though those are smooth leather and made a bit differently, this is pebble grain. Good for day-wear though

I expected a good, decent rendition ... but received a near virtual copy of an original. Aside from the leather coating treatment, which isn't very noticeable, this looks, feels, functions like an original I'm familiar with.

Awesome sporran, shipping very fast. Though marked as a 48 in. sporran belt, I received a 42. . Won’t send back as I was going to sometime use it with hangers anyway, and my nephew can use the belt. I would like to have the 48 in. belt for use when not wearing a kilt belt. Sporran alone was worth the price! I purchased a number of other items along with the sporran; 6, to be exact, all were excellent ! May order more later for my nephews. Maybe if I do I can get a 48 in. belt. Again this is a great sporran, well worth the money.

I bought this sporran for it's simple classic look and of course it's a great price. I wear a kilt a probably 4-5 times a week and I wanted something that was functional for everday wear. It took a week to get to me in the U.S. from UAE so i was pretty impressed with the fast shipping. When i got the sporran it looked exactly like I expected it to and the quality is great. The closure system is simple, easy and effective and the pocket is big enough for keys/wallet/copenhagen can, but no too big. I would definitely recommend this sporran wether you're looking for something to use on a day to day basis or recreating a regimental uniform.
