Glad they're back! (2024-04-05)
I missed the boat on the first run of these, but thankfully the sales were enough to warrant a second run. I purchased two, and they are as nice as the first run, and equally waterproof. They are the 1897/14 model, with rings for a drawstring to make them into a poncho. I look forward to using these at many a Newville!

Excellent! (2023-09-08)
Excellent reproduction of the most common French shelter half of the Great War. Note that this is the Tente-Abri Individuel 1897 modifié 1914 version with the neck and waist loops for wearing the tent like a pelerine. If you need just the 1897 version, these additions can simply be removed. Once weathered this tent looks amazing.

French Model 1897 Shelter half review (2023-05-30)
These look really good at first glance but unless you are not planning on actually using them don't bother. The gromet holes are only reinforced with thin stitching and the fabric tears easily. Considering the excellent quality stuff, I have purchased before from What Price Glory I am disappointed. Okay wrapped around a pack or for a ground cloth display but useless for actual use. Sorry but I am speaking truth. I would like to return for all 4 for a refund.

Amazed (2023-05-10)
Very well done model of this early shelter half. Thick canvas fabric, very water repellant, proper draw rings in place, heavy duty buttons. Very please.
