These are original US Army issue MIVA1 gas mask bags that were used with M1A1, M2, M2A1 and M2A2 Gas Mask through the 1930's and through much of WWII. These are in unissued condition, showing a little storage dirt, but no wear of any kind. All original straps are intact. The tin of anti-dim cloth was removed long ago. These bags were worn by all US troops landing in North Africa, Sicily and Italy during WWII, and are usually seen in photos of troop training in the US prior to deployment.
