Original General Service Map Case Number 2 Mark I (Unissued-dated)

Consisted of a stiffening board made of Tufnol. A clear celluloid map cover along with an outer protective webbing cover is sewn onto the tufnol board. The celluloid and map beneath are held in place by four brass rivets and webbing cover has two snaps to hold it down. These map cases have adjustable carrying straps and overall dimensions of 9.25 inches to 11.25 inches
