n 1917 the Army adopted a modified version of the uniform worn since 1912. It was made in a coarser wool and color standards were virtually abandoned. By summer of 1918 most of the AEF had been issued this uniform. Lined in cotton fabric like originals. Millions of these uniforms were produced by many contractors and tunics and breeches were not an exact match. Our reproductions also will show variations in color between tunics and breeches.
