I ordered a 1902 Pattern Tropical Tunic, putting together a Camerons Highlander (Queens Own) uniform. I am having to exchange for a larger size, my fault. I will be ordering other parts of the uniform (costume) from WPG.

I have a wool version of this jacket and wanted something a bit lighter for piping during the spring. Great jacket and will fit perfectly with just a bit of tailoring at a later date. My only constructive criticism is that the brass belt supporters are too high for my fit. But this is off the rack, so it is a minor adjustment I can have made later. The sleeves "shrunk" nicely after the first wash/dry. Excellent service!

I already had a regular size 48 in the tunic, but it was too short in the waist, and sleeves. I emailed customer support and received the measurements for a 48L.
The 48L fit perfect, with room in the sleeves to adjust the sleeve length.
Otherwise the quality of the new tunic was up to par with the old.

Good value tunic for summer wear. Needs the cuffs tailored to fit correctly. If you are doing BW, the Tunic looks great with WPG BW buttons on...

Great tunic. It’s well made and roomy. I am a 50 reg and the 50 reg tunic fit very well. Sleeves are extra long ass promised. Only required slight alterations (taking it in around the waist area of the tunic) there was no duties or r taxes getting it into Canada.

No stranger to wearing doublets, this jacket with be a treat in the heat! Had it altered to fit sleeves and midsection and I know I will get many complements when I wear this piping. Purposed to get this being the centennial anniversary of the end of the Great War, and will be wearing for my veteran events this season.

Very well made of quality material. The sleeves of course were meant to be altered so no issue there. It fits me and the kilt very well except for the collar. I had to move the top button over and the hook&eyes don't reach which is why I gave it a 4.
I could have swapped it for a larger size but then the rest of it would be too big.

Durability with a sense of flare

Thick, strong, and durable. I'm a bit of a barrel chested individual and this jacket fits me very well without tailoring. You skinnier folks may wish to alter yours a bit (like the oft mentioned sleeves you'll be shortening anyway). This jacket has a very classic look (as it should I suppose) and has garnered a lot of compliments in a short period of time. My orders so far include a Sam Browne belt and bracers,1911 holster, 3 magazine holder, wool hose, tam o'shanter, and this jacket (which ties the whole outfit together like the Big Lebowski's rug). You cannot go wrong with this item!

I've been researching the uniforms of the Highland Light Infantry in order to put together a period correct uniform for competition in Single Action Shooting Society arena costume competition. This fit the bill perfectly. It will also work well for the shooting competition as we are all required to dress in period correct attire for the late 19th century. This will be the focal point of a unique presentation when I compete against all the cowboys of the old west in the U.S. Thanks so much for the quality product.
